Empowering the North Shore's Animal Welfare Community
We’re a nonprofit based in Waialua, Oʻahu, dedicated to educating and empowering our local community on animal welfare. Whether you're a lifelong animal lover or just need help, we’re here to connect you with the rescues, resources, and knowledge needed to help animals - your own or not - on the North Shore of O'ahu.
The Rescue Network is not a rescue or foster group. We're the connection you can count on when you don't know exactly where to go.

What We Do
Did you know? Kittens can get pregnant as early as 4 months?!
We believe that knowledge is the first step to action. That’s why we focus on educating our local community about animal welfare and showing them how to get involved.
From understanding what to do when you find a stray, to learning how fostering works, we help demystify the rescue process and make it accessible to everyone.

Did you know? There are over 30 organizations on O'ahu helping with animal welfare and rescue?
So which do you use? We serve as a hub for connection—linking individuals and families with the trusted rescues, shelters, and support services they need in the moment..
Whether you're looking to rehome or surrender an animal, get help with stray management or even pet food, we’ll help you find the right place to start.

Did you know? Many shelters and rescues on O'ahu operate with limited funding, staff, and facilities. This shortage makes it difficult to manage the growing number of abandoned and stray animals.
A lot of our time is spent behind the scenes—writing grants, building partnerships, and raising funds to support the very rescues and resources we promote.
